Le attività di ricerca del gruppo che afferisce al Settore Scientifico Disciplinare AGR/01 vertono su alcuni macro-argomenti nell’ambito dell'Economia Agroalimentare e del Marketing dei prodotti agroalimentari. Tra questi:
- Analisi del comportamento del consumatore di prodotti alimentari e novel food utilizzando metodologie qualitative (es. focus group, interviste dirette in profondità) e quantitative (es. indagini campionarie su base teorica, esperimenti di scelta discreta, ecc.).
- Studio del sistema agroalimentare e dell’organizzazione delle imprese
- Analisi delle performance economico-finanziarie delle aziende agricole e delle industrie alimentari
- Analisi dell’impatto socio-economico degli organismi geneticamente modificati (OGM)
- Valutazione degli effetti economici derivanti dall’adesione a schemi di qualità certificata (es. DOP e IGP, agricoltura biologica, ecc.).
- Analisi dell’impatto delle politiche per l’agricoltura (es. PAC) e per la sicurezza alimentare sulle imprese e sui cittadini
- Studi economici sulla sostenibilità agro-ambientale e lo sviluppo d’impresa
Il gruppo ha creato nel 2015 il Laboratorio LA.RI.SA. (Laboratorio di RIcerca Stakeholder dell’Agroalimentare - Food & Stakeholder Research LAboratory). Il laboratorio offre servizi alle imprese e alle istituzioni per la realizzazione di Focus Group, di eventi di Stakeholder Engagement, nonché ricerche utilizzando diverse metodologie, dalla Conjoint Analysis ai Questionari on line. Il laboratorio dispone di moderni software per le ricerche quantitative (Qualtrics) e qualitative (NVIVO).
